Firefighter and Navy veteran Nick Hanetho of Fort Worth Professional Firefighters Local 440 testified before the Texas Legislature today in support of HB 2513 (Tepper). This military-leave bill would prevent veteran firefighters from being forced to use vacation and sick leave to meet their ongoing military commitments.
